The fitting is suitable for hot and cold water and central heating systems. It can be used in tight spaces where there is insufficient room to form a bend or employed as part of a crossover tee (often with a copper system the crossover 45 bend would be a spigot). The fitting can be also be utilised in stair bulkheads where the pipework needs to follow a 45 degree slope. Generally the larger the pipe diameter the harder it is to get a bend tight enough to accommodate changes of direction in a confined space. Manufactured and assembled in the UK.
