Running pipe work from an externally mounted air source heat pump or biomass boiler into a property requires the pipe work to be run through the exterior wall. The hot pipe work will be affected by cold bridging and heat loss if it is not insulated correctly. MIS 3005 requires external pipework and pipework running through external walls to be adequately insulated.
The Pump House TW-KIT (Through wall insulation kit) provides both thermal insulation within the wall and comes complete with an elbow section to cover the external copper pipe connection.
