Description:

With an adjustable temperature range of between 20°C and 90°C, the Horstmann cylinder thermostat is suitable for mounting on either domestic hot water cylinders or large heating pipes. A bi-metallic sensor system ensures accurate hot water temperature control. Each unit is supplied with a strap and buckle for easy installation.

    • Wide range of temperature settings
    •  16 Amp changeover (S.P.D.T) contacts
    • Although normally used for wet central heating systems the HCT2 can switch loads of up to 3kW at 230V 
    • Switching differential of 3°C avoids excessive boiler cycling
    • A large differential ensures that the boiler is not prone to excessive cycling when the thermostat has reached the set temperature
    • Bi-metallic sensor system
    • Thermally operated bi-metallic switching is a robust mechanical mechanism giving long life, trouble free operation
